About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Business Systems Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring a successful buildout of the insurance platform. During the implementation phase you will turn product requirements into functional and non-functional requirements. You will create a requirements library that you will be responsible for updating and maintaining as well as process documentation. You will be responsible for completing a technical UAT to ensure that data is flowing properly through all systems and meets the requirements specified. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic goals.
You will also perform additional tasks such as creating SQL queries for analysis, system configurations, bug triaging, and creating ad-hoc reports.
What you will do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications for engineers.
- Participate and potentially lead bi-weekly sprint planning sessions, daily stand up's and other agile ceremonies.
- Create and maintain detailed process maps, data models, and system documentation.
- Perform data analysis using expert-level SQL knowledge to pull data from the database, perform root cause analysis, identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the insurance platform.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that delivered solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
- Provide end-user training and support as needed to ensure the successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business analysis and technology.

- Experience in the insurance industry.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner or Technical Product Manager or similar role in a relevant industry.
- Expert-level SQL knowledge for advanced data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong understanding of how systems work together and how data flows through each system.
- Enjoys getting their hands dirty and digging in to find the best solution.
- Ability to travel once a month for a 2 day co-working session, likely in the Eastern time zone.

Location
This role is fully remote, however our ideal candidate is located in the US.
Pay transparency
It is Tint’s intent to pay all Team Members competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair and equitable. The goal of Tint’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is expected to be $100,000 - $150,000. The total compensation package for this position includes an equity package as well as the benefits listed above.
